This morning, the Old Settler’s Music Festival postponed its 33rd annual roots music gathering. Organizers cited the decision by Caldwell County Officials that prohibits crowds of over 500 people.
“The well-being of Old Settler’s community of loyal festgoers, musical artists, sponsors, volunteers and vendors is truly our first priority,” said the event’s press release.
Current plans call for OSMF to reschedule in the fall, with a specific date yet to be announced. Refunds are not being issued, but ticket purchases will be honored for the event later this year.
The fest, originally slated April 16-19, featured a lineup including Tanya Tucker, the Head & the Heart, JJ Grey & Mofro, Shinyribs, Sam Bush, and Jade Bird.
