Next week, Aug. 21, The Killers will release their awaited new album, Imploding the Mirage.

On Friday, the chart-topping alt/glam/pop band premiered “Dying Breed,” the latest in a series of pre-release singles in anticipation of the record. Featuring the band’s signature bombast and shimmery production paired with Brandon Flowers’ vocals, the song can be heard below:
“Dying Breed” joins fellow pre-release singles, including “My Own Soul’s Warning”:
And “Caution,” the album’s lead single, which has become one of the Killers’ most successful on the charts:
Imploding the Mirage was to be released on May 29, but had its release date pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When released, it will be the Killers’ sixth full-length record and the first since 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful.
Also delayed by the pandemic were the Killers’ UK and Ireland summer tour dates, which have since been pushed to Summer 2021 at some rather formidable venues:
