The song “Rednecker” is a single off “A Rock,” the new album by a burgeoning country music star known to the world simply as Hardy, but many Neshoba countians will know him as Michael Hardy, the son of Mike and Sarah and kid brother to Madison Hardy Dennis — or even the grandson of Bobby and Joyce Hardy.
His new album premiers tomorrow Sept. 3. Look for a full feature in the upcoming edition of Neshoba Magazine.
In the July issue of Rolling Stone, the headline said “How Hardy Became Nashville’s Most Clever New Redneck Songwriter.” They said on his new album ‘A Rock,’ the one-name-only artist shows off a knack for irreverent storytelling.
