Missouri River Regional Library is going to sound a little blue.
The library in Jefferson City has reserved its first floor for a night of music by Chump Change Blues Band.
The event, part of the Music in the Library series co-sponsored by KJLU, the public radio station at Lincoln University, will be 7-8:30 p.m. Aug. 30.
Chump Change has been playing rhythm and blues for more than 20 years. The group has performed with Albert King, Robert Cray, KoKo Taylor, Buddy Guy, Martha Reeves and many others.
Admission is free, but space is limited. MRRL can accommodate about 200 people on the main floor.
