Award-winning blues musicians from all over the nation took the stage at the celebration. The theme of this year’s event was harp attack and each band on the main stage features a harmonica player as part of their act. Organizers say this event is a wonderful way to enjoy fantastic music and the great outdoors.
“So, we’ve got a lot of blues fans, they come out to our shows, they love coming out to our festival, it’s a great location. Lyran Park is a beautiful setting to do a blues festival, natural amphitheater, we got a nice stage, we’ve got great sounding, natural sound that just rolls up the hill, it’s really a cool place and we have superb weather too,” said Steven Jones.
With the fest growing in size and community interest every year, organizers hope to keep throwing the party for years to come.
