American blues artists Guy Davis and Mark Murphy will perform their powerhouse music style at a fundraiser for the Warwick Historical Society at the Old School Baptist Meeting House on Sun., Sept. 22 at 2 p.m.
Guy Davis has spent his musical life carrying his message of the blues around the world, from the Equator to the Arctic Circle, earning him the title “An Ambassador of the Blues.” His work as an actor, author, and music teacher earmark him as a renaissance man of the blues.
The intimate concert will feature the talented duo with opening act, eclectic musician and artist Roger Street Friedman as the Warwick Historical Society raises money for preservation of the 12 landmark historic properties in its care.
