One of the finest Rock & Metal photographers of all time, Ross Halfin posted yet another rare special photo of AC/DC’s Malcolm Young on his official Instagram page.
Also, Ross Halfin has explained one of the hardest AC/DC show he’s ever photographed with this photo.
Here’s what he wrote:
“Powerage Tour Hammersmith Odeon 7th May 1978. One of the hardest shows I ever photographed no pit had to shoot with the whole crowd jumping and headbanging against me plus no iPhones …
Now the crowd would be just standing holding up their arms filming. #rosshalfin #acdc #powerage.”
A fan named chateauneuf_du_pfaff commented on this photo:
“Wish I could have seen AC/DC in their prime. Saw them once in 2010, which was great. But that must have been a completely different world. ??”
Another fan named ryleychayce said that:
“At the risk of sounding like an edgy teen, I really wish shows had the same energy that they had before smartphones.”
