Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actress who formed Grace Potter and the Nocturnals in 2002. Potter released her debut solo record Original Soul on 2004 via Grace Potter Music. Potter released her latest album “Daylight” in October. It’s a return to her earlier sound, full of soul, with some rock, country and blues thrown in. A multi-instrumentalist following the thread of African-American history, Jenkins weaves country blues, ragtime and traditional jazz. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jenkins started as a busker.
