The second artist to be announced for the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2020 will be legendary American singer and songwriter Lionel Richie. The All Night Long hitmaker will be taking the stage at the 18th edition of the award-winning festival on Thursday February 27.
Best known for producing countless easy-listening soulful hits such as Three Times A Lady, My Love and Easy. Fans can expect to hear all of these iconic tunes and more when he heads to Dubai early next year.
The soulful pop-R&B legend last performed in the UAE when he headlined the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2016. He also performed at Media City Amphitheatre in 2014, the same venue as the Jazz Festival where he will be headlining in 2020.

Lionel Richie will be supported by American jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra, who are best known for their hits Catching The Sun and Cascade. Lionel joins the line-up alongside Lauryn Hill who will be taking the stage on Wednesday February 26, supported by British singer Bruno Major.
The 2019 Jazz Festival saw superstar acts including 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys, iconic funk band Jamiroquai and legendary rock band Snow Patrol all perform at the incredible festival.
