Friends of Wakulla presents Sing for the Springs
The Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park presents a virtual event titled “Sing for the Springs” hosted through Zoom at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17. This program, as part of the organization’s “For the Springs Virtual Speaker & Performance Series,” will feature musical performances by Hot Tamale, including environmentally themed songs and other upbeat acoustic music, performed dockside at the beautiful Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park.
With this series of virtual events, The Friends of Wakulla Springs is providing educational entertainment for the general public, a way for people to connect with others in a world of pandemic restrictions, as well as an alternate way for folks to enjoy the natural beauty of Wakulla Springs.
After Sept. 17, this program will be made available on the website and Facebook page of the Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park for anyone unable to participate in the live stream Zoom session.
Register in advance at wakullasprings.org to receive a Zoom invitation. Attendance limited to the first 100 participants.

Garnet ‘n’ Soul kicks off football weekend at Southwood
Southwood Golf Club, 3750 Grove Park Drive, has live entertainment every Friday night. They do live outdoor with social distancing. This Friday, Garnet ‘n’ Soul kicks off the football weekend with live music from 6-9 p.m. There is no cover and food and drinks are available. Lineup for the rest of the month is: Sept. 18 – Bottom Dollar Boys and Sept. 25 – BabyGray.

Justice Through Art exhibit at LeMoyne
LeMoyne Arts is taking action to be a part of the solution to improve understanding, acceptance, and appreciation of everyone in the community, through the power of ART. LeMoyne Arts opens its exhibition on Justice Through Art. Asian Coalition presents online Fusion World Dance Concert II
Fusion World Dance Concert II – Online Showcase is presented by The Asian Coalition of Tallahassee and the Tallahassee Community College Dance Company from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.
Fusion World Dance Concert II is an amazing cultural dance and musical adventure guest starring the world renown Matsuriza famous Japanese Taiko Drummers, Karkum Project, Omaris, Kumu Kalina, Omega and many more showcasing online.
