CASPER, Wyo. – Popular Christian rock artists Skillet will play the Casper Events Center next year.

Tickets for the show, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. on February 12, 2020, go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

According to a release from the Casper Events Center, the Skillet is “one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century” and features John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Jen Ledger and Seth Morrison.

The press release describes the power quartet’s music will “ignite seismic stadium-size anthems highlighted by chantable choruses, thunderous rhythms, symphonic electronics, and intricate musicality.”

According to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Wisconsin-based band has sold more than 12 million albums and has had more than 2 billion streams on Spotify.

The band’s sound has been compared to acts such as Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons and Twenty One Pilots, but with a Christian message.

“Whether you’re spiritual or an atheist or anti-God, music has a supernatural quality to it,” John Cooper told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Every day on social media I see people say, ‘I don’t get this Jesus stuff, but your music makes me feel better.’ “
