A tribute concert will be held in Stafford tomorrow.
The tribute to the late John Ollier, a former member of Stafford Jazz Society from 2001 to 2009, will be held at The White Eagle Club in Riverway.
The Rhythm Chiefs will play the music of the great Count Basie.
A spokesman for the society said: “The band line-up features the award-winning pianist Dave Newton, Roy Sainsbury on guitar, Tom Hill on bass, Bryan Corbett on trumpet, Charlie Wright on tenor sax and Malcolm Garrett on drums.”
Then on December 15 Savannah Jazz Band will be performing at the club as part of Stafford Jazz Society’s Christmas concert.
The events will be held from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
The cost is £6 for members and £7 for non-members.
