Families flocked to the Minneapolis Institute of Art for a day of art, music and dancing on Sunday.
The Current hosted its 15th annual Rock the Cradle event geared toward getting kids interested in music and the arts.
The free event was complete with a disco dance party, live music and ukulele lessons.
“t’s a great time for families to just be together, be present with one another, and hopefully have some fun, learn about music, learn about art and celebrate community,” said Bethany Sweet, marketing manager for The Current.
Attendees also learned the science of making a beat with a DJ.
