Mongolian rock band The Hu to release album with world famous artists
AKIPRESS.COM – Mongolia’s famous rock band The Hu filmed new acoustic video for their track Shireg Shireg. The clip shows the process of song recording at the studio which allows fans to get accustomed to the real backstage shooting and see traditional instruments of the band.
The video Shireg Shireg is another teaser to the new version of The Hu’s first album The Gereg which will be available on July 10. The Hu recorded the new album with famous American musicians such as Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Danny Case (From Ashes To New) and Lzzy Hale (Halestorm). 130,000 copies of the original album was sold all over the world.
The Hu after their return to Mongolia performed at the White Rock Center in Ulaanbaatar to provide aid for State Emergency Committee for COVID-19 fight during last weekends. The concert was translated via Mongolian television with attraction of $19,000 and uploaded on Facebook and YouTube which collected $5,000.
The Hu or Hu translates as “human” from Mongolian. The band performs in music style called Hunnu Rock which was inspired by ancient Mongolian empire Hunnu and actively uses cultural elements such as Mongolian war cries and traditional poetry in their songs.
