Richmond’s Spirit & Soul Festival goes virtual Saturday – Richmond Standard

A popular Richmond event has been reimagined this year as the “Virtual Spirit & Soul Festival” and will be streaming live on social media. Richmond Main Street Initiative’s 12th incarnation of the free annual festival is set for Sat., Oct. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

LeChat Nail Care Products will join the organization in presenting this Saturday’s festivities, which organizers refer to as a “time to celebrate, relax and dance.”

Anyone wanting to join in the fun can tune in to KOFY TV20, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube to watch the Spirit & Soul Festival live. On hand will be a full lineup of top performers like Andre Thierry Accordion Soul Music, SambaFunk!, Carnaval Explosion with King Theo, as well as talented young Richmond artists.

Richmond businesses will be stepping up with exclusive festival offers; download the Festival Specials Passport to get deals on food, beverages and shopping. Virtual attendees can also RSVP to the event for a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card.
