Saucony‘s popular Jazz line has gained a new member, with the classic Jazz 4000 OG appearing in a funky “White/Pink” makeup. The retro runner presents a classic sporty shape and equips it with vibrant accents, making for a compelling style that harkens back to the omnipresence of bright athletic product in the ’90s.
Soft sail tones are present on much of the mesh and suede-equipped upper, but they give way to a bright neon pink on the midfoot and around the collar. Saucony’s Jazz stripe is dressed in purple, and special purple/pink accents are present on the tongue tag and heel: the former presents a striped running man graphic, the latter an intentionally jumbled Jazz text hit that sits under a small strip of hi-vis reflective material.
Of note is that the mudguard is constructed of the same mesh as the base layer — an uncommon choice for most retro runners, which often use divergent materials on these two pieces. Down below, a crisp white EVA foam midsole and black outsole with a triangular traction pattern and a large pink Saucony text motif complete the look.
The Saucony Jazz 4000 OG “White/Pink” is priced at €105 EUR (approximately $115 USD) and will release at retailers like 43einhalb this spring.
