The University Jazz Ensemble at Southeastern Louisiana University will livestream its first concert of the fall 2020 semester at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 from Pottle Music Building Recital Hall in Hammond.
The concert will be available live on the KSLU Facebook page, facebook.com/90.9KSLU.
Under the direction of Director of Jazz Studies and Instructor of Percussion Michael Brothers, the concert will include “Moonlight Serenade” by Glenn Miller, arranged by Bob Florence; “Critic’s Choice” by Oliver Nelson; “The Man I Love” by George and Ira Gershwin, arranged by Bill Holman; “Angel Eyes” by Earl Brent and Matt Dennis, arranged by Frank Foster; and “Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea” by Ted Koehler and Harold Arlen, arranged by Lennie Niehaus.
