Eric Congdon and friends will headline Thrive’s eighth annual Bids & Blues fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 at Hendersonville Country Club.
Guests will be treated to an evening of food and music, a full cash bar and a silent auction to benefit the local nonprofit.
The event raises money for Thrive’s programs, which are designed to help individuals and families living with mental health or housing instability get back on their feet.
Tickets are $50 each and include a voucher for one adult beverage. Ten percent of event proceeds will go directly to Thrive’s new board-designated endowment fund. Tickets can be purchased at the event or online at thrive4health.org/support/bids-blues/.
Thrive’s programs provide opportunities to learn coping, social, independent living and vocational skills, the release states. The organization assists individuals with obtaining jobs and giving back to the community. All of Thrive’s programs are accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
“We invite you to start your week with a fun evening of music, food and fellowship at the Hendersonville Country Club,” Kristen Martin, executive director of Thrive, stated in a news release. “Our mission is to inspire individuals and families to move from surviving a crisis to thriving in the community. Your support helps us raise funds for critical housing and mental health services.”
Event sponsorships are still available. If you wish to be a part of this event as a sponsor, contact the Thrive offices at 828-697-1581.
